Asia's Lashes hands Nailtalk its third straight defeat

ASIA'S Lashes Tomas Morato broke away in the third quarter for 77-62 victory over Nailtalk-St. Dominic on Monday in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Jhygruz Laude flung 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals off the bench, including the layup that gave the Soldiers a 17-point lead, 79-56, with 2:08 to play.

Rickson Gerero pinched in 10 points and four boards while Francis Camacho scored 10 in the win.

It was a different Asia's Lashes squad which showed up after the halftime break, piling up 31 points in the third quarter that turned a 26-32 deficit to a commanding 57-42 lead after three.

"Sinabihan ko sila sa dugout na i-execute ang play namin kasi bine-breakdown kami," professed coach Alvin Grey. "Iniisip nila mahina yung team na kalaban namin, pero lahat dito competitive."
