FAR Eastern University moved closer from clinching a playoff ticket in the 2019 PBA D-League following an 88-81 win over Diliman College-Gerry's Grill on Tuesday in the 2019 PBA D-League at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
Branrey Bienes scored nine of his game-high 25 points in the final canto to keep the Tamaraws comfortably ahead en route to their fifth in in eight games in the Foundation Group.
Wendel Comboy also scorched with 10 points in the fourth and eventually finished with 19.
Ken Tuffin tallied 11 points and five boards, while Cameroonian bruiser Patrick Tchuente wound up with nine points and nine rebounds.
Kevin Gandjeto scored 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Diliman-Gerry's. John Mahari had 21 points and five boards.
