VALENCIA City Bukidnon-SSCR withstood Che'lu Bar and Grill in overtime, 93-87, on Monday to march into the 2019 PBA D-League semi-finals at the Ynares Sports Arena, Pasig City.
Mario Bonleon sank the go-ahead floater with 38.6 seconds left to play while Jessie Sumoda and Allyn Bulanadi sank their freebies afterwards to save the Golden Harvest, who allowed a 14-point lead in the first half to dissipate.
"Yung team ko preparing for the NCAA, hindi pa ito beterano. But ang maganda they gave their best to win it and pumasok sa semi-finals," said coach Egay Macaraya.
JM Calma led Valencia-SSCR with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Allyn Bulanadi had 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists while Alex Desoyo made 15 and stepped up for RK Ilagan, who fouled out late in regulation. Ilagan left with 11 points.

Rey Suerte flirted with a double-double of 18 points and nine rebounds to lead Che'lu, which held a one-point lead briefly at 62-61midway in the fourth quarter.
Gab Dagangon had 16 points and six rebounds and Alfred Batino chimed in 12 markers and nine boards.
