PBA D-League Draft day

UNLESS AMA coach Mark Herrera had a change of heart, Jamie Malonzo will earn the distinction as the number one pick overall in the 2020 PBA D-League Draft, set on Monday at the PBA Office in Libis.

The 6-foot-6 forward has become a priority for the Titans on the strength of his stints in Portland State and La Salle in the previous UAAP season that earned him a spot in the Mythical Team.

This marks the fourth straight year that AMA will be picking first in the Draft.

Past top selections from AMA include Jeron Teng (2017), Owen Graham (2018), and Joshua Munzon (2019).

Besides Malonzo, other potential early picks early are Gilas pool member Jaydee Tungcab, and former youth stars Jollo Go and Jerie Pingoy, as well as Cebuano standouts Darrell Menina and Jaybie Mantilla.
