PETRON-Letran closed out its 2019 PBA D-League eliminations assignment with a 115-73 rout of Batangas-EAC Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Alvin Pasaol scattered 29 points and sparked an early breakaway by the Knights. He also had 11 rebounds and five assists.
Jerrick Balanza chipped in 20 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, five steals, and two blocks, while Jeo Ambohot had 17 points and nine boards in the win.
The win gave Petron-Letran's a 6-3 (win-lost) record but its entry into the next round depends on the results of Go for Gold-CSB's and Che'Lu Bar and Grill's remaining games in the Aspirants Group.
A top four seat awaits the Knights should Go for Gold loses in its last assignment and Che'Lu wins just one of its last two games.
