University of Perpetual Help aims extend their winning streak to three games when it faces Go for Gold Tuesday in the 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
"Ok yun na makalaban at makikita namin kung ano yung ilalaro namin versus the other NCAA teams. Ngayon pa lang, makikita mo na ang diperensya," he said.
The Altas, coming off an inspiring 88-72 rout of JRU last Monday, are determined to sustain their form to the delight of coach Frankie Lim.
"We're getting better every game and yun naman ang gusto kong makita, yung improvement," he said.
Lim's grand plan for Perpetual (2-1) is slowly materializing, with Prince Eze emerging as a solid cornerstone of the team. He tallied a rare triple-double against the Heavy Bombers last week.
The veteran coach would love to see more of that against the Scratchers as he gets a chance to gauge the full ability of his team against a fellow NCAA rival.
Perpetual and Go for Gold-CSB clash at 2 p.m.
Go for Gold, on the other hand, is hell-bent to snap its two-game slide.
Coach Charles Tiu urges the Scratchers to get their acts together on defense, something the team lacked the past couple of games.
"For us to win, we have to be able to defend which has really been our problem the last two games," he said.
St. Benilde stalwart Yankie Haruna will be making his debut for Go for Gold in the game.
