Alaska signs two more rookies in Stockton, Ilagan

ALASKA is stocking youth in its lineup.

The Aces management signed rookies Alec Stockton and RK Ilangan to separate contract deals, officially making the two part of the team for Season 46 of the PBA.

The team welcomed Stockton and Ilagan to the franchise after posting their signings in the Alaska official Instagram account, where they were joined by team manager and board of governor Richard Bachmann in the photo.

Stockton was the Aces' second round pick at no. 21 in the recent rookie draft, while Ilagan was picked in the third round at no. 31.

The 6-foot-1 Stockton, who suited up for Far Eastern University, was best remembered for wearing a barong tagalog on draft day. The Aces earned the rights on his pick as part of the trade with Phoenix involving Vic Manuel.

The 5-foot-7 Ilagan, meanwhile, played for San Sebastian in his college years.

The two are the latest rookie draftees signed by Alaska for the coming season.

The Aces earlier came to terms with big man Ben Adamos and Fil-Am guard Taylor Browne.

The 6-foot-7 Adamos was the team's first round pick at no. 6, while Brown was likewise a second round pick who came five notches ahead of Stockton. (RG)
