Allen Durham back for his fourth tour of duty with Meralco

The Meralco Bolts have once again tapped the services of Allen Durham as their reinforcement for the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup in September, the team announced Thursday.

This will be Durham's fourth consecutive stint with the Bolts, and fifth overall in Asia's pioneering pro league.

Durham first played in the league in 2014 with the now-defunct Barako Bull Energy. He returned two years as reinforcement of the Meralco Bolts and led the team to its first Finals appearance.

The next year, Durham and the Bolts returned to the Finals but lost again to Ginebra. In his third tour of duty with Meralco in 2018, the Bolts came up short, falling to the Alaska Aces in the semifinals.

Durham averaged 28.6 points, 17.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.1 blocks last season. The hulking 6-foot-5 forward is coming off a stint with the Shiga Lakestars in Japan's B.League.
