Arwind Santos wants Beermen to stay focused on their goal

Arwind Santos said the San Miguel Beermen should keep their focus on their goal instead of worrying about the Alaska Aces' revenge plot when the two teams start their semi-final showdown in the PBA Commissioner's Cup this weekend.

It will be the first meeting between the two teams in the playoffs time since the SMB defeated Alaska for the title in the 2016 Philippine Cup Finals and became the first PBA team to do so after being down 0-3 in the series.

Alaska was the first team to reach the semis after dispatching Magnolia in the quarterfinals while San Miguel swept TNT KaTropa in a best-of-three series.

Aside from its historic comeback, San Miguel also beat Alaska twice in the 2015 season.

The first came in the Philippine Cup when Santos delivered a go-ahead three late in Game 7 to seal the title victory.
