?San Miguel Beer and Blackwater claimed their second straight win in their respective divisions on the second day of hostilities in the 2025 Batang PBA age-group tournament Tuesday at the CCF Gym in Pasig City.
Christian Emmanuel Tan scored 18 points and Mikkael Dominic Castaneda had 13 as the Batang Beermen defeated Rain or Shine, 65-49, in the 11-and-under division to go up 2-0 in Group B.
Ulan Rico scored 14 points to show the way for the Batang Elasto Painters (0-1).
Blackwater also coasted to its second straight win in the 9-and-under division at the expense of Ginebra (0-1), 64-37.
Prince Sirius Selibio tallied 20 points while Carmelo Keeyan Leongson contributed 17 for the Batang Bossing, who assumed the early lead the four-team division.

Converge, meanwhile, bounced back from a disappointing defeat against Blackwater on Monday, by beating debuting Magnolia, 54-48, in the other 9U match held in the morning.
Christian Jacob Tan led the Batang FiberXers with 27 points. Lucas Gabriel Miciano contributed 10.
In the other 11U games, Meralco blasted NLEX, 70-47, for its second win in Group A while NorthPort (1-1) bounced from Monday's defeat with a 64-62 decision over Phoenix (1-1) in the other Group A action. Debuting Terrafirma rode on a 27-9 finishing kick to rout TNT, 63-44, in Group B.
The Ginebra quartet of Eduard Allen Manual, Robin Francis Marcial, Calvin Rafael Bustria and Xianrei Chavez also hugged the spotlight by beating Magnolia's Jace Vicente, Gian Antonius Ortega, Ken XToff and Jacy Montillo, two games to one in the one day, 3x3 side event. (JBU)
