Blatche to play in the coming PBA Governors Cup?

Andray Blatche has grown enamored with the Philippines that he's now thinking of playing out the remainder of his playing contract in China then renders service possibly to NLEX or TNT KaTropa in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

If ever, his stint in the PBA would also be part of the Gilas Pilipinas buildup for the 2019 FIBA World Cup should Team Phl make the grade in the FIBAWC qualifier.

A win over Kazakhstan in Astana on Sunday gives the Nationals a good shot at salvaging a WC berth.

During the post-game interview in the Gilas-Qatar game, a Qatari cage official had wondered aloud if Blatche would love to play in the Qatari league since at least two teams expressed interest to enlist the Filipino naturalized player.

Smiling, national coach Yeng Guiao butted in, saying "Eh di sa Pilipinas na lang."
