Hotshots tap former NBA player Rakeem Christmas for all-important game vs KaTropa

Magnolia Ang Pambansang Manok will be parading ex-NBA player Rakeem Christmas for Wednesday's all-important game against Talk N' Text in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Christmas replaces James Farr, who was given the pink slip after the Hotshots lost three in row. Farr played nine games for Magnolia and helped the team secure a playoff spot.

The 27-year old Christmas played Syracuse in the US NCAA and had San Miguel import Chris McCullough for a teammate during the 2014-15 season.

He played 30 career games for the Indiana Pacers from 2015-17 NBA seasons.

After his NBA stint, Christmas played for Galatasaray in Turkey and the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian National Basketball League.
