Jeron Teng all set to join PBA Rookie Draft

Former La Salle standout Jeron Teng is set to file his draft applicationMonday, making himself available for the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft slated on Oct. 29.

Through his agent Danny Espiritu, Teng has informed the PBA Commissioner's Office in advance of his submission of his draft papers three days ahead of the Oct. 12 deadline.

The 6-foot-2 forward, fresh from a stint with the Chooks To Go Pilipinas team in the recent FIBA Asia Championship Cup in Chenzhou, China, is tipped to be among the top draftees in the 2017 draft exercise.

Twice Finals MVP in the UAAP, Teng could well be in the Top Five with Christian Standhardinger, Jason Perkins, Raymar Jose, and Kiefer Ravena should he also decide to join the draft.

Standhardinger, Perkins and Jose have submitted their draft applications ahead of Teng.
