Kiefer Ravena feels so bad after loss to Phoenix, vows to redeem self

MAGNOLIA Hotshots will be the next assignment of NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA Philippine Cup on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

And it would be interesting to see how rookie Kiefer Ravena bounces back from a poor performance against Phoenix last Sunday.

The 24-year-old Ravena was 4-for-13 from the field-- a far cry from his first two games where he averaged 19 points and 8.5 assists.

"I shot poorly and that didn't help the team at all. I have no excuses", said Ravena who suffered his first loss as professional player.

Ravena said the good thing about the defeat is that he learned a lot from that game.

"We have next week to bounce back on a string of heavy, heavy games so I have to come out mentally and physically prepared", said the no.2 overall draft pick.

After the Hotshots the Road Warriors face a tough San Miguel Beer.
"Better get ready for those teams. It will be even harder", said Ravena. (Zaldy Perez)
