The PBA newest 'Iron Man" intends to play for as long as I can.
"It doesn't matter kung anong number as long as I can play, I will play," offered LA Tenorio, who shared the distinction with Alvin Patrimonio on Friday with his 596th straight game.
And he underscored his latest achievement by putting together 23 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals to lead the Kings to a 100-97 victory over the youthful Phoenix Fuel Masters that kept them on track for a spot in the playoffs.
Tenorio, 35, said the 'Iron Man" tag is a testament to the hardships and sacrifieces he endured throughout his career as a PBA player.
"Parang nasuklian yung all the hardwork, discipline and sacrifices na ginawa ko, nagbubunga," Tenorio said.
