Matt Ganuelas-Rosser excited to deliver for the fans

It has been three years since Matt Ganuelas-Rosser joined the Slam Dunk Contest.

Still playing for Talk 'N Text that time, the 6-foot-5 forward displayed his athleticism in front of an adoring crowd in Puerto Princesa.

However, his jams weren't enough as he narrowly missed the championship round and saw Rey Guevarra take the throne.

Fast forward to now, and Ganuelas-Rosser is ready to give it another shot.

And he's undoubtedly pumped to make a show in the 2018 PBA All-Star at Batangas City Sports Center on Friday.

"I'm excited and I want to deliver for the fans," said the 27-year-old.

Ganuelas-Rosser knows that odds are not in his favor, lamenting: "I'm more of an in-game dunker so that may be to my disadvantage."

But he believes that providing the entertainment part is half of the battle, and that could just be the edge he needs to become only the second San Miguel player to hoist the trophy after Joey Mente did it in 2001.

And an ace up his sleeve? His signature "Wakanda Forever" celebration which he adapted from the movie Black Panther.

So, we'll we see a dunk straight out of Wakanda from Ganuelas-Rosser?

"I'll think about it," he said before bursting to a laugh.
