Mo Tautuaa, Christian Standhardinger trade places

Mo Tautuaa and Christian Standhardinger are trading places.

NorthPort and San Miguel Beer yesterday agreed to a deal involving the two big men.

Tautuaa will be suiting out for the Beermen when the SMB plays Columbian on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The top pick overall in the 2015 Annual Draft, Tautuaa improved on his game from the time Talk N Text traded him and two future picks to NorthPort in exchange for Terrence Romeo and Yousef Taha.

The 30-year old Fil-Tongan is averaging11.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assist per game in the ongoing Governors' Cup and should readily make an impact for the Beermen in their quest for a grandslam.

Standhardinger, SMB's first round pick in the 2017 Draft, should fit well under the system of coach Pido Jarencio and the Batang Pier with his defensive prowess and all-around game.

Interestingly, the Fil-German will be playing his first game as a Batang Pier opposite the Beermen on Oct. 23 at the Cuneta Astrodome.
