PBA welcomes back corporate partner Philsteel

After 14 years, pioneering steel manufacturing conglomerate Philsteel returns to the PBA as a major sponsor of Asia's first play-for-pay league.

Philsteel, the company behind renowned and trusted roofing brands such as Galvalume 55, Colorbond and building product Galvabond, recently forged a season long partnership with the Philippine Basketball Association under the helm of newly-minted league commissioner Willie O. Marcial.

"The PBA welcomes back a solid corporate partner in Philsteel," declared commissioner Willie O. Marcial during the contract signing last Wednesday (Feb. 7).

Abeto Uy, Philsteel's Chairman and CEO, said the company is happy to be part of the PBA family again.
