The PBA Commissioner's Office has approved on Tuesday the trade that sent center Raymond Almazan to Meralco in exchange for the Bolts future first round picks in 2019 and 2021.
Almazan was a two-time All-Star and played for the national team several times.
The trade ended speculations on the future of Almazan.
By landing the former Letran Knight, the Bolts finally has a big man.
Almazan played only six games with the Elasto Painters this season averaging 8.0 points and 6.0 rebounds.
Rain or Shine made Almazan the third overall pick in the 2013 PBA Rookie Draft behind Greg Slaughter and Ian Sangalang.
