Romeo finally shows up, joins Beermen in training

Terrence Romeo begins the new chapter of his career on Thursday by joining San Miguel in training for the first time since being traded by TNT a few weeks ago.

San Miguel board of governor Robert Non, formally introduced Romeo to the team.

Marcio Lassiter, Arwind Santos and Chris Ross with home Romeo had a brush in the past welcomed the flamboyant guard with open arms.

Romeo was dealt by the Texters to the Beermen for Brian Heruela, David Semerad and a future first round pick.

Saying he is ready to move forward, Romeo made it clear that he holds no ill feelings against his former team.

"Kay Boss Manny V. Pangilinan, wala dahil si boss MVP, napakabait. Wala rin akong sama ng loob sa TNT at sa mga players dahil ok naman lahat," he said.

Romeo is hoping that he could contribute in SMB's bid for a fifth straight Philippine Cup.

"Basta gagawin ko lang yung best ko sa paglalaro ng basketball. Pagbubutihan ko na lang. Nasa bagong team na ako. Kung ano man yung bad memories ko sa 2018, kakalimutan ko na lang. Magmo-move on na lang ako," said Romeo. (RL)
