Team Red wins Shooting Stars on David's clutch four-point basket

PASSI CITY - Team Red of Senator Bong Go and courtside reporter Apple David ruled the Shooting Stars competition of the PBA All-Star Weekend Sunday at the City of Passi Arena.

Also composed of Inquirer sportswriter Jonas Terrado and random fan Kobe Ordaniel, the team was the fastest to reach the half court station with still 23 seconds left in its shot clock after David hit a surprise, underhand shot from four-point area.

Team Red though, failed to convert from midcourt.

David came through with the clutch hit after Senator Go nailed it from three-point arc off a pass by Terrado.

Team White of former Letran player and now Passi City councilor Ramon Andrei Pantin and Cignal's Bea Escudeo earlier also made it at half court when Justin Bacnis sank it from four-point range with still 6.5 seconds to take a shot at midcourt.
