Tim Cone wary of Columbian Dyip

"Basically we're in playoff mode".

That was how Ginebra coach Tim Cone assessed the Kings 104-84 performance against the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok on Sunday in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Still, Cone said the Kings need at one more victory to stay in contention for a quarterfinal spot.

"We have no margin for error, we gotta keep finding ways to win," said Cone.

Cone said he expects another grind out against Columbian Dyip on Wednesday.

He said Columbian Dyip is a dangerous team because it defeated league leader Rain or Shine 104-96 last May 9.

Cone said their goal is to get into the top six and that means they have to really win their last three assignments.

After the Columbian Dyip, the Kings face the Alaska Aces and Global Port Batang Pier.

"We gotta get all of them", said Cone who just acquired shooter Jeff Chan in a trade with Phoenix Petroleum.
