Tropang Giga's drive to quarters put on hold

THE TnT Tropang Giga was to play the NorthPort Batang Pier on Monday but their scheduled 6:45 p.m. match has been cancelled as a precautionary measure.

That's because the Tropang Giga was placed in isolation after a Blackwater player was considered a 'suspected case'. The entire Blackwater team has also been isolated. TnT and Blackwater played against each other last Thursday

Confirmatory test on the Blackwater player yielded negative result on Sunday although he remains in quarantine for safety precaution.

"TNT, Terrfirma, Magnolia, Meralco and Phoenix will undergo their third RT-PCR test cycle on Tuesday followed by he remaining teams in the coming days," the PBA said in a statement.

The PBA said all PBA delegates - officials, staff and referees, TV5 delegates, Quest hotel staff - all tested negative.
