AMA seeks crucial win to earn quarterfinals spot

AMA Online Education has its sights locked in on entering the playoffs when it clashes with Hazchem in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup Thursday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The Titans last played on August 15 in a 77-86 loss to Centro Escolar University, and that long break of theirs might actually be of help in their quest for a quarterfinal spot in the 3:30 p.m. duel.

Ex-Ateneo Blue Eagles duo Aaron Black and Vince Tolentino plus lanky forward Dennis Santos are seen to anchor the Mark Herrera-mentored AMA anew against the Green Warriors.

But the Titans' playoff bid may not be that easy to attain as they will have to go through a hungry Hazchem side.

The Green Warriors have lost their fourth straight game last Monday after their 76-126 defeat to Centro Escolar University, so Manuel Torralba's wards are raring to end their struggles.
