Asia's Lashes determined to secure playoff berth

ASIA'S Lashes Tomas Morato plans to formalize its quarterfinal entry when it takes on iWalk in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The Soldiers are coming off a 108-98 conquest of Hazchem last August 26 which hiked their win-loss record to 3-2, and another win would enable them to lock the third seed in Group A.

"Mas maganda na manalo pa rin kami ng last game. Must win kami doon," said coach Alvin Grey as he will bank on his veteran duo of James Martinez and Adrian Celada.

But standing on Asia's Lashes' way is an iWalk side that's bent on redeeming itself following the 141-97 humiliation it received from group leader Marinerong Pilipino last August 26.

The Chargers got torched single-handely by Eloy Poligrates, who erupted for a league record 67 points.
