CEU aching to bounce back, battles winless Keanzel Basketball

CENTRO Escolar University seeks a quick bounceback in its 7:30 p.m. duel against Keanzel Basketball on Thursday in the 2024 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Scorpions, the reigning Universities and Colleges Athletic League (UCAL) titlist, are coming off an 89-61 loss against reigning champion EcoOil-La Salle Tuesday night.

And they are determined to rebound from that frustrating defeat.

"Kailangan short term memory ka lang because it's a short elimination round and we have to focus on Keanzel," said CEU mentor Jeff Perlas.

"We have to make adjustments defensively. Play honest defense without fouling, better rotation and communication. I trust my players that they will step up in the coming games. We just need to stay composed on both ends, execute well on offense with better decision making and tons of energy on defense," he added.
