Go Torakku-St. Clare determined to grab coveted quarterfinals seat vs Keanzel Basketball

Go Torakku-St. Clare faces winless Keanzal Basketball Thursday, determined to put away the final roadblock in its bid to formally secure the coveted spot in the quarterfinals of the 2024 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup.

Game time is 4 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Go Turakku-St. Clare turned its fortunes around by defeating CCI-Yengskivel, 118-84, on Tuesday.

"Ang lalakas 'nung mga unang nakalaban namin (na Top 2) pero itong CCI-Yengskivel, sabi ko lang sa mga players, 'wag nila i-underestimate. Kalapit namin na school ito so parang for pride na rin. Sabi ko lang sa mga bata, gawin lang nila 'yung mga tamang tinuturo namin," said St. Clare mentor Jinino Manansala.

The victory snapped a three-game skid and more important, it gave Go Turakku-St. Clare an advantage in its bid for one of two coveted quarterfinals seat. Go Turakku-St. Clare and CCI-Yengskivel are tied at 1-3 record.

As things stand, Go Turakku-St. Clare will claim a coveted quarters berth with a victory over Keanzel Basketball and regardless the result of the CEU-CCI-Yengskivel encounter at 5:30 p.m.
