PSP raring to claim second win versus Perpetual

PHILIPPINE Sports Performance (PSP) shoots for a second win against the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in the 2023 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Game time is at 2 p.m. with the Gymers looking for a follow up to their scintillating win over Marinerong Pilipino-San Beda to stay on top of the leader board.

The Gymers essayed a stellar come-from-behind 94-92 win against the Red Lions to open their campaign with a bang and join reigning champion EcoOil-La Salle as early leaders.

Head coach John Paolo Lao urges his wards to stay motivated and keep their focus on their next task.

"Kailangan kalimutan na namin 'yung first game namin. Kailangan handa kami vs Perpetual. Kailangan gutom kami palagi. Kumpyansa pero dapat hindi kampante," said Lao, who's getting a lift from his assistant coaches in PBA cagers CJ Perez, Jericho Cruz and Jackson Corpuz.
