Roosevelt, Nayve show way as Go for Gold-CSB tops AMA, 101-91, for 4th straight win

GO for Gold-CSB came away with a 101-91 victory over AMA Online Education on Tuesday and bolstered its playoff bid in the 2019 PBA D-League with its fourth straight win at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

Roosevelt Adams anchored the Scratchers with 21 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists. Robi Nayve chipped in 19 points and five rebounds, Carlo Young contributed 13 points and Jimboy Pasturan had 12.

Go for Gold-CSB used a 7-0 run in the final minute of the third quarter to seize a 77-68 lead before breaking away with a 32-point fourth quarter finishing kick.

The Scratchers improved its record to 5-3 in the Aspirants Group.

"I think we just got off to a bad start. Medyo slow start kami, but we picked it up and we're playing much better," said coach Charles Tiu.

Joshua Munzon finished with 30 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and three steals, while Franky Johnson had 26 points, six steals, and four assists but couldn't save AMA from its fourth loss in six games.

Both players were ejected late.
