BOTH the Ynares Center and Ynares Sports Arena are now being readied as possible playing venues once the 46th season of the PBA is given the go-signal to push through.
League officials already met with former Rizal Governor and Antipolo City Mayor JunJun Ynares on the possible use of either facility as site for the season opener Philippine Cup.
Ynares already committed to allow the league in playing its games in the two venues.
"OK sila kahit saang venue, ma-Antipolo yan or ma-Pasig pa," said PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial, who had a dialogue with the public servant from the province of Rizal.
Ynares Center in Antipolo has been hosting PBA games for a long time now, where Magnolia Hotshots even celebrated their championship against Alaska during the title-clinching game of the 2018 Governors' Cup.

The Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig meanwhile, served as venue for games of the PBA D-League in the past.
Marcial said flooring in the arena has just been refurbished by the family of Ynares in order for it to be ready once games for this season finally gets going.
Renovations and repairs were already made on both facilities as the PBA already submitted a request letter before the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) about the possible opening of the season by middle of July.
With restrictions still imposed within the NCR Plus area under General Community Quarantine (GCQ), teams are not allowed to hold scrimmages within Metro Manila.
Instead, teams are conducting practices in different places in Batangas and in Laoag, Ilocos Norte. (RG)
