9 Fil-foreign talents enlist for 2019 PBA Rookie Draft

NINE Fil-foreign have declared for the upcoming 2019 PBA Rookie Draft.

Roosevelt Adams and Sean Manganti banner the talent who have decided to make the jump to the pros and beat the deadline last week.

Adams, who had stints with Mighty Sports and Go for Gold-CSB in the 2019 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup, is one of the best snipers in the pool.

Manganti, on the other hand, is one of the versatile forwards out there. He showed his skills during his two years with Adamson in the UAAP.

Both Adams and Manganti are touted to be picked in the first round of the annual draft proceedings, to be held on December 8.

Also part of the early entrants were 6-foot Franky Johnson, who displayed his feisty slashing ability for Gamboa Coffee Mix, Marinerong Pilipino, and AMA Online Education.

Hardworking Fil-Canadian forward Vince Tolentino has also joined the bandwagon along with
fellow Blue Eagle Adrian Wong.

National University one-and-done player Troy Rike is also one of the rare bigs in this year's pool.

Rounding out the list were Fil-Am guard Jason Riley, forward Daryl Singontiko, and 37-year-old center Mark Taylor. (RL)
