MEMBERS of the Alaska Aces are actively doing their share helping fellow Filipinos amid the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
After coach Jeffrey Cariaso's donation drive for game-day staff of the PBA, Vic Manuel and Abu Tratter are also extending help to those who are in need.
Tratter and Manuel distributed foods and relief goods in their respective areas over the weekend as a way of at least easing concerns of people with the spread of the coronavirus continuing to grow every day.
Manuel handed out packed lunch and dinner to the village east guards and homeless people around Cainta, while Tratter gave out relief goods for at least 50 families in Siniloan, Laguna where he was born.
The 32-year-old Manuel thanked the Lord for keeping his family safe in his social media post.

"Can't sit still and be sheltered in my little bubble while I see or hear about these people suffering. So I'm preparing my first box of relief goods to feed fifty families here in my barangay in Laguna," posted the Alaska big man in his Instagram account.
"The fight against hunger was here before the pandemic and going to be hereafter," added Tratter. "It's our responsibility to take care of those less fortunate, no matter how small you think it is."
Earlier, Cariaso led a donation drive that merited the help of a total of 42 individuals including Alaska team owner Wilfred Ungtengsu and other Aces, to augment the financial loss of non-regular PBA staff who were affected by the sudden postponement of the new league season due to the current pandemic.(RG)
