Alaska import Chris Daniels was frank enough to admit that his performance is crucial to Aces campaign in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Daniels offered his assessment after scoring just 17 points on a woeful 3-of-15 shooting in Alaska's 100-87 win over the NLEX Road Warriors Wednesday that snapped a two-game losing streak.
"I need to improve," Daniels said. "If I improve, the team will improve."
The 35-year-old is neither dominating nor he possesses a cat-quick game but Aces coach Alex Compton appreciates Daniels for providing leadership to the team.
Still, Daniels admits his play needs to improve especially on offense.

"If I make half of my shots then the game will not be as close as it is," Daniels pointed out.
"I'm just lucky that I was good enough to make my free throws and my teammates helped me and pulled us through," he added.
The Aces, who went 2-2 in their first four games, won't have a game in a week so hopefully, Daniels could work to improve on his game in that span before Alaska resumes its campaign against the elite teams. (JT)
