Alaska has parted ways with Chris Banchero.
The Aces dealt their dynamic point guard to the Magnolia in exchange for Hotshotss center/forward Rodney Brondial and shooting guard Robert Herndon.
The PBA Commissioner's Office approved deal Sunday.
Banchero, an American born Filpino-Italian, was selected by Alaska as the 5th pick overall in the 2014 Annual Draft.
Banchero was the Aces' starting guard the past three years. He averages 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the ongoing PBA Governors' Cup.

He was selected sixth overall by Ginebra in the 2014 Annual Draft. A year later the Kings dealt Brondial along with their 2018 first round pick to Barako Bull in exchange for Jervy Cruz.
Not long after, Barako Bull shipped Brondial along with RR Garcia to the Star Hotshots for rookies Mark Cruz and Norberto Torres and veteran guard Jonathan Uyloan.
Herndon, a 6-foot 2 backup guard, was selected sixth overall by GlobalPort in the 2017 but found himself traded to the Hotshots for three rookies - Lervin Flores, Joseph Gabayni and Julian Sargent.
An earlier trade involving Blackwater and Talk N' Text KaTropa also got the nod of the PBA Commissioner's Office.
