CAVITEX came away with twin wins on Friday to stay undefeated in both the 14-Under and 12-Under divisions of the 2023 Batang PBA Friday at the CCF Center in Pasig.
John Denver Sison and Joshricson Vitug scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, as Cavitex clobbered All Star Light, 97-37, for a 3-0 start in Group D of the 14-Under category.
Cavitex also cruised to its second win in as many game in Group B of the 12-Under division with an 85-45 rout over PBA Stalwarts behind the efforts of Samuel Nomso Esomchi (18) and Ross Joverick Pelaez (16).
Meanwhile or Rain or Shine (1-1) smothered PBA Greats (0-2), 126-22, in Group B. The 104-point victory was the the biggest winning margin so far in the tournament.
Jose Antonio Lopez tallied 25 points and drew a lot of support from Joaquin Daniel Ortega (15), Riley Chase Fernandez (14), Angelo Cabantac (12) and Zachary Cruz (11).

The batang E-Painters raced to a 25-5 start and never look back after that.
Jor-El Zach Pascual carded 22 points as Terrafirma (2-0) stunned San Miguel (1-1) with a 72-55 victory in Group A of 12-Under.
All Star Light (1-2) defeated Rain or Shine (0-3), 56-51, also in Group A, as John Heyver Ace Deato poured 18 points.
In Group D, Son Yu Caperos scored 26 points and James Sayson had 23 to power Converge (1-1) past Phoenix (1-2), 60-55, while Meralco (2-0) leaned on Rye Teodor Villaruz and Jayden Jegudiel who tallied 15 and 13 points, respectively, to shut down Northport (0-3), 103-34.
In Group C, Talk 'N Text notched its second straight win in as many games following an easy 103-43 win over Purefoods (1-2). Miguel I?igo Magtaas headlined the batang Tropang Giga with 21 points. (JBU)
