BARANGAY Ginebra and Meralco swept their respective groups in the 12-under division at the 2023 Batang PBA at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig Monday.
Lorenzo Xavier San Miguel, Zion Carlo Aguilar and Jarel Marc Javier tallied 10 points apiece as the Batang Gin Kings trounced the Batang San Miguel Beermen, 77-46, to top Group A with a clean 4-0 mark.
Rye Teodor Villaruz scored 16 points to lead three others in double digits as the Batang Bolts, sealed the No. 1 seed in Group D by completing 4-game sweep with a 94-54 rout of Batang Converge FiberXers.
Lorenzo Miguel Purugganan, tallied 15 points, Isaac Miguel Purugganan had 12 and Zachary Phoenix Stehmeir added 11 for Meralco.
The Batang NLEX Road Warriors also remained unbeaten in four games in Group A of the 14-Under play by downing the Batang Ginebra Gin Kings, 77-64, behind the efforts of Lino Tubongbanua Jr, who topscored with 15 points.
Jhustin Hallare (12) and Jared Gabriel Ferreros (11) also shone for the Batang Road Warriors, whose victory paved the way for Purefoods' quarterfinals entry.

Purefoods finished at second place in Group A with a 3-1 card while Ginebra ended its campaign with a 2-2 slate.
In the other 12-Under match, Terrafirma clobbered PBA All Star Light, 75-43, to finished behind Ginebra in Group A and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Elyan Sobrepe?a hammered 14 points and Yul Gerald Nicolas and Austin Hugo Delos Santos added 10 each for the Batang Dyip. (JBU)
