BARANGAY Ginebra clobbered Magnolia, 74-48, and San Miguel Beer edged out Rain or Shine, 61-54, in the semifinals Friday to arrange a finals showdown for the 2023 Batang PBA 11-Under division at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The one-game championship match is set 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Brothers Julian Mateo and Joaquin Miguel Baliwag delivered the crippling blows for the Batang Gin Kings as they teamed up in a telling 20-9 first-quarter breakaway as Ginebra went on to sweep Group A.
Julian Mateo fired 20 points while Joaquin Miguel backstopped his brother with 16 points to pace the Batang Gink Kings.
In the other semis, Fritz Avillano tallied 14 points as the Batang Beermen also stayed unbeaten in Group D.
