SISTA, Terrafirma and Cavitex debuted in style with convincing wins against their respective rivals in the Day 5 of the 2023 Batang PBA Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
John David Lusong scored 16 points while Chandler Cano and Yhanzz Kraiffer Selom added 13 and 10 points, respectively as Sista blasted Blackwater, 76-51, to join early leaders Talk 'N Text (1-0) and Purefoods (1-0) in Pool C of the Under-12 Division.
The Batang Bossing remained winless in two matches despite getting 22 points from Tyrese Gabriel Tang.
In the other U12 action, Samuel Nomso Esomchi erupted for 20 points as Cavitex rolled past Magnolia, 69-40.
Jaden Cabu?as scored nine points and Marcus Nathan Gamboa had eight for the Batanga Braves, who stormed to a 31-16 advantage at halftime.
