SAN Miguel Beer, Blackwater Red President and Cavitex took care of business against their respective counterparts to gain passage into the quarterfinals of the 2023 Batang PBA Sunday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The Batang Beermen routed the PBA Greats, 134-23, to complete a 4-game sweep in Group B while the Batang Red President downed Cavitex, 66-59, in the battle of unbeaten squads to improve to 3-0 and clinch the top seeding in Group D of the 14-Under division.
Julian Mylez Villano waxed hot with 22 points while Francely Baldomino and Jerico Prince Derilo banged in 14 points apiece to for the Beermen, who put the game away with a 36-3 start en route to the 111-point margin.
PBA Greats finished its campaign winless at 0-4.
Nickson Andwele Caba?ero had 10 points while Ryle Santino Gimarangan and Mark Joseph Sanchez scored nine points apiece in their fourth-quarter to lead Blackwater's fightback from a 44-49 deficit at the end of the third quarter.

In the lone 12-Under match, Cavitex romped past NLEX, 115-41, to improve to 3-0 and seal a Top-Two finish in Group B.
Samuel Nomso Esomchi and Ross Joverick Pelaez rifled in 16 points each for the Batang Braves, who will duke it out against fellow unbeaten PBA Greats (3-0) for the number one spot spot on Tuesday. (JBU)
