EYED Batangas City gyms are expected to be done with cleaning and disinfection process by Wednesday afternoon, allowing them to finally open doors for PBA team trainings starting Thursday morning.
All the teams except those from the MVP Group are taking the options to sweat it out in Batangas City's Batangas Coliseum, Batangas State U Gym and Lyceum-Batangas Gym.
They're to observe a strict home-venue-home setup although they also have the option to house their players in nearby hotels, including the Pontefino.
Meralco and TNT Tropang Giga opted for a bubble training in Laoag City in Ilocos Norte while NLEX is setting up camp in Clark on a closed-circuit setup. The Road Warriors are practically at home, traversing the North Luzon Expressway.
The PBA ball clubs go out-of-town pending a definite ruling from the Inter-Agency Task Force on what sports activities are allowed in Metro Manila which is under General Community Quarantine "with heightened restrictions."

The different local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila themselves can't issue permits, awaiting clarifications from the IATF.
"PBA has informed us we still cannot practice (in NCR) pending clarification from the DOH/IATF. So we plan to go out of town for practice in Clark," coach Yeng Guiao said on the team's website.
It's one the same reason for the rest of the PBA teams who would have loved to return to their old hubs in preparation for the targeted PBA Season 46 Philippine Cup start in June. (SB)
