FOR the third straight year, the PBA adopts another worthy cause with the holding of a new round of Blood Donation Drive this weekend.
The event for a cause will be held on July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Green Gate entrance just before the scheduled Commissioner's Cup doubleheader pitting Rain or Shine against TnT Katropa and defending champion San Miguel opposite Magnolia Pambansang Manok.
PBA players are expected to lead the noble project being held in partnership with Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay, a non-stock, non-profit organization headed by founder Nap Marilag and the Doctors and Nurses of Philippine Orthopedic Center and the Margarito Duavit Hospital.
Each donor will receive free upper box ticket, snacks, and a souvenir short from PBA and Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay Inc.
Walk-in donors will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
