If negotiation is started and a deal is sealed in time, Robert Bolick could wear the NLEX jersey for the first time as the Road Warriors tangle with the TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the PhilSports Arena Wednesday.
NLEX is also adding Kent Salado in its lineup but coach Frankie Lim will now be without Don Trollano and Kris Rosales, major weapons the team had to give up in acquiring Bolick from the NorthPort Batang Pier.
Another former Red Lion has been added to the NLEX lair under the care of former San Beda champion coach Frankie Lim.
And, of course, the goal is to develop a culture of winning at NLEX which is now outside the Magic Eight, tied with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at ninth with their identical 2-5 win-loss marks.
The Road Warriors have lost their last three games with replacement import Stokley Chaffey.

Bolick can definitely help with his scoring and backcourt savvy he brought briefly in the Japan B. League before deciding to come back home.
But the question is when will he come on board at NLEX.
"As of now, wala pa (timetable on Bolick's NLEX debut). We're hoping he can play the soonest," team governor Ronald Dulatre said Monday night.
He had previously described Bolick as "a remarkable player whose skills and experience will significantly contribute to the NLEX Road Warriors."
Against TNT, it will be a duel of teams struggling to get on the run.
Coach Jojo Lastimosa's troops are barely up on NLEX and ROS at 2-3, having lost their last two outings against Meralco (109-95) and NorthPort (128-123 in overtime).
