IN dropping their last outing, the Meralco Bolts are now in a tight spot in the rumble for the Top 4.
Up against the Terrafirma Dyip in their final game in the PBA Commissioner's Cup elims, coach Luigi Trillo's chargers must win to stay in the race.
And a win might not be enough.
As looming as a big possibility is a logjam from No. 3 to No. 5 and even No. 2 to No. 5. And in any of these scenarios, the Bolts would end up at No. 5 due to inferior quotient.
The road to the Top 4 for the Bolts would only clear up should they beat the Dyip and either the Beermen or the Gin Kings drop their final elims assignment.

The Beermen play the Blackwater Bossing at 4 p.m. before the Bolts and the Dyip clash at 8 p.m. Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The following day, the Gin Kings tangle with the NLEX Road Warriors in a road showdown at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation in Legazpi, Albay.
The Bolts blew a crack at the Top 4 in a 93-83 loss to the Phoenix Fuel Masters Wednesday.
And complications now abound, but the Bolts would rather focus on nailing the cherished "W" versus the Dyip.
