JAYSON Castro proved he's not just all about scoring.
The veteran TNT guard showed the other aspect of his game by becoming the latest to join the PBA's 2,000 defensive rebound club.
Castro, 36, achieved the milestone during Game 4 of the Tropang Giga's Governors Cup semifinals series against Meralco as they closed out the Bolts behind a 107-92 win.
The seven-time champion finished with nine points and grabbed four rebounds when he clinched the landmark.
On Easter Sunday when the league celebrated its 48th anniversary before a crowd of 11,580 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Castro was recognized for his feat after being given a special PBA plaque by Commissioner Willie Marcial.

Joining Marcial in awarding Castro were San Miguel governor Robert Non, Games and Amusement Board (GAB) chairman Atty. Richard Clarin, Board chairman Ricky Vargas of TNT, and Blackwater team owner Dioceldo Sy.
Too bad, TNT's 102-90 loss to Barangay Ginebra in the opener of the Governors' Cup finals spoiled what had been a special night for Castro.
He finished with four points and five rebounds in the Game 1 loss. (RG)
