IT'S not over yet for San Miguel.
There remains one game to be played against the Converge FiberXers and the Beermen still like their chances despite finding themselves on the ropes in their PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals series.
"Ang maganda dun may isang game pa," said star wingman CJ Perez. "Kailangan naming mag-regroup, kailangan naming mag-prepare."
The do-or-die game is set Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo in a match that was unthinkable prior to the start of the best-of-five series.
But the FiberXers made it possible with back-to-back wins in Game 3 in which they rallied back from 27 points down, and Game 4 in which they led the Beermen by as many as 17 points.

Now Converge is on the brink of a first ever semifinals appearance in franchise history with its best showing ever in the playoffs so far.
Perez concedes the Beermen are struggling while the FiberXers on a surge.
"Mahirap siyempre naka-momentum rin sila (FiberXers) and hindi rin naman basta-basta yung Converge," said last year's Best Player of the Conference in the Commissioner's Cup.
Perez was in foul trouble for most of the second half of Game 4 and finished with 11 points, but was held scoreless in the last two quarters.
Yet, the former NCAA MVP out of Lyceum still believes the fate of San Miguel still rests on its hands.

"Naka-depende pa rin sa amin. Kilala naman natin yung San Miguel kung paano maglaro," said Perez.
