IT'S one of the worst losses in a PBA finals for Barangay Ginebra in recent years.
And while it left a bad taste in the mouth the 99-72 defeat the Kings suffered against TNT Tropang Giga in Game 5, coach Tim Cone said it was only one game and not 'the series' itself.
The veteran coach is ready to move forward and leave behind the 27-point blowout the Tropang Giga dealt his team Wednesday night before a crowd of 12,727 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
"I know our fans feel bad about it, everybody feels bad, the team feels bad about it. But the bottom line is, it's just one game in the series. It could have happened in Game 1 or Game 2, or Game 3," said Cone.
"No one feels bad about losing a game like this than me. But we just got to move on, get ready for Game 6 and see what we can do."

The loss was the worst for the Kings in a finals since going down against the San Miguel Beermen, 132-94, in Game 3 of the 2018 Commissioner's Cup.
Down in the best-of-seven series, 3-2, Ginebra now needs to summon its old never-say-die spirit to turn things around, meaning a sweep of the last two games for the team to regain back the title it lost to TNT last year.
Game 6 will be on Friday at the Big Dome, while Game 7, if necessary, is set on Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
"Now our backs are to the wall and we have to come out with a little bit of desperation in Game 6," said Cone. (RG)
