MYLES Blake Powell looks to lead the Bay Area Dragons to a fourth straight win before giving way to Andrew Nicholson in their next four games, then coach Brian Goorjian decides whom to play for the rest of the conference.
That's the tricky situation for the Dragons while having two imports in their lineup for the PBA Commissioner's Cup which allows only one import per team for the 12 regular PBA ball clubs.
But for now, the Dragons are focused on making it four in a row as they tangle with the Converge FiberXers at 5:45 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
For their part, the FiberXers, with import Quincy Miles, aim to bounce back from a loss the last time out to the Magnolia Hotshots and create a logjam at 2-1 with the NorthPort Batang Pier and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
Coach Aldin Ayo and his troops were solid in their 124-110 conquest of the Terrafirma Dyip and just came up short in a tough stand against the Hotshots, 109-105.

They're now the next team up against the Dragons after their three-game roll against the Blackwater Bossing (133-87), the Batang Pier (105-104) and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters (101-91).
Powell has been the backbone in their perfect start thus far, with the ex-Philadelphia Sixer piling up a league-leading 36.7 points per game.
Powell stands a shade under 6-foot-1 but the Dragons have the ceiling as provided by their regular East Asian players plus Chinese heritage players Haden Blankley, Warren Liang and Kobey Lam.
The Dragons will become even taller on the entry of Nicholson, a 6-foot-10 former NBA player who plays multi spots. The NBA five-season veteran with Orlando, Washington and Brooklyn makes his PBA debut against the Barangay Ginebra Kings Sunday.
He will also be on deck against San Miguel Beer on Oct. 16, Terrafirma on Oct. 21 and Meralco on Nov. 4. Goorjian will then decide between Powell and Nicholson for Bay Area's remaining elimination games against Rain or Shine on Nov. 11, NLEX on Nov. 13, Magnolia on Nov. 19 and TNT on Nov. 23.

Nicholson is likely to be a tremendous inside presence while Powell is an explosive scorer who could be a big problem for the FiberXers. (SB)
