SAN MIGUEL Beer ace behemoth June Mar Fajardo has another shot at a rich harvest in the coming PBA Annual Awards or the Leo Awards.
As aside from being an MVP contender and cinch for Mythical Selection honors, the Cebuano giant is in the running for a spot in the All-Defensive Team that will be feted during the Season 47 Awards Rites on Nov. 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Fajardo has been a multi Leo Awards winner, with his record six MVP coronations and five previous memberships in the squad of defensive musclemen.
Should he net another one, Fajardo will join the elite list of only 10 players with at least six Best Defensive Team accolades. The 10 are Jerry Codinera (with nine), Marc Pingris (eight), Glenn Capacio (eight), Arwind Santos (eight), Gabe Norwood (seven), Chris Jackson (seven), Chito Loyzaga (seven), Yoyoy Villamin (seven), Chris Ross (six) and Alvin Teng (six).
Meanwhile, Mark Barroca, Rome dela Rosa, Cliff Hodge, CJ Perez and Calvin Abueva are one-time winners could join the list of "ADT" multi honorees.

Barroca and Perez are among the guard candidates for Season 47 All-Defensive Team together with Jio Jalalon (two-time winner), Gian Mamuyac, Kib Montalbo, Chris Newsome, Mike Nieto, Kevin Racal, Alec Stockton, Scottie Thompson and Ross.
Abueva, Dela Rosa and Hodge are in the running for center/forward spots versus Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Justin Arana, Rodney Brondial, Andreas Cahilig, Poy Erram, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Glenn Khobuntin, Jamie Malonzo, Dave Marcelo, Norwood, Jason Perkins, Christian Standhardinger and Kelly Williams.
