PHNOM PENH- PBA 3x3 stalwarts led by ace gunner Almond Vosotros of TNT will carry the fight for the Gilas Pilipinas men's 3x3 that takes the road to redemption in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games here.
Vosotros along with Tropang Giga teammate Lervin Flores, Purefoods' Joseph Eriobu and J&T Express' Joseph Sedurifa were named in the final lineup released by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas ahead of the team's departure from Manila Thursday night.
Coached by Pioneer's Lester del Rosario, Gilas 3x3 embarks on the bring-the-gold-back mission from May 6-7.
"Solid yung apat na nakuha natin at nakikita ko sa mga mukha nila na laban sila at ayaw magpatalo sa SEA Games," del Rosario said.
Gilas 3x3 plays Laos, 2021 runner-up Vietnam and Indonesia in Pool A on Saturday, needing to finish in the Top 2 to advance to the crossover semifinals set the next day.
