THE Bay Area Dragons are pulling out all the stops in a bid to form a competitive roster for their coming stint in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The club will be parading former NBA player Andrew Nicholson to reinforce the guest team in the mid-season tournament set for a September 21 opener.
The 6-foot-10 Canadian was a first round pick of the Orlando Magic in the 2012 draft and played for the team for four seasons.
He later suited up for the Washington Wizards and the Brooklyn Nets, before taking his act to the Korean Basketball League (KBL) playing for Daegu KOGAS Pegasus.
Nicholson also had stint in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) with the Fujian Sturgeons and Guangzhou Loong Lions, respectively.

Management of the Bay Area Dragons are naturally pleased with the signing of the 32-year-old Nicholson.
Dragons' management was ecstatic about having Nicholson and Powell coming on board with the team as imports.
"Andrew Nicholson is someone that we've been keeping an eye for a while. His size is undeniably an advantage on the court, but it's his skillset and his approach to the game that really attracted our attention," said Dragons general manager Liu Quansheng.
"He was a strong inside presence and can knock down shots from beyond the arc as many Chinese fans have seen when he played three season in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). We can't wait to start working with Andrew."
